Senior Nutrition Action Council

The
Senior Nutrition Action Council (SNAC) is a 501(c) 3 organization that
works with the Ventura County Area Agency on Aging to support the
county’s senior nutrition lunch program. There are over a dozen meal
sites in the county. Site administrators are encouraged to submit grant
requests to SNAC for funding of special needs or projects related to
the senior nutrition program.
SNAC sponsors a variety of fundraising activities. We operate a Thrift Store in Camarillo, we put on a traveling rummage sale at each of the meal sites and we produce a quarterly newsletter to increase community awareness of this important senior nutrition program.

Our mission is to increase the visibility of the Ventura County Senior Nutrition Program and to support its objectives through outreach and fund raising activities.
